Why Buy a Kit?
- Save Time — All 6 filters in one box, no cross-referencing needed
- Save Money — Bundle pricing vs. buying individually (20-30% savings)
- Complete Coverage — Both fuel filters (primary + secondary), oil, air, cabin, and CCV — nothing missed
- OE Quality — Every filter meets or exceeds Motorcraft OEM specifications
- CP4 Pump Protection — Regular fuel filter changes are critical to protecting the Bosch CP4.2 high-pressure fuel pump from debris-induced failure
Maintenance Tips
- Oil Filter: Change every 7,500-10,000 miles with full synthetic 5W-40 diesel oil. The 6.7L Power Stroke holds 13 quarts — don't skimp on filter quality.
- Fuel Filters (Both): Replace every 15,000 miles or when the DIC (Driver Information Center) alerts "Water in Fuel." The CP4.2 injection pump is sensitive to fuel contamination — this is NOT the place to cut corners.
- Engine Air Filter: Inspect every 15,000 miles; replace every 30,000 miles. Towing in dusty conditions? Check it more often — the Power Stroke moves a lot of air under load.
- Cabin Air Filter: Replace every 15,000-20,000 miles or annually.
- CCV Filter: Replace every 60,000-75,000 miles. Clogged CCV = increased crankcase pressure = oil seal failures.
